The Equilibrio Effect
For the Horse:
- A Happy Back – The Equilibrio’s flat, soft panels and wide channel allow for abdominal contraction, lifting and opening the spine for comfort and freedom.
- A Happy Neck – Maximum scapula freedom allows for better wither lift and an open, lengthened neck posture.
- A Compact Body – Promotes collection, stronger engagement, and an overall healthier body.
- Universal Fit – Tested on over 50 horses of different breeds and builds, fitting without shims except in rare cases.
- Stays in Place – Three girth placements allow for customized saddle security, preventing forward slippage without restricting shoulder movement.
For the Rider:
- Longer Leg – Automatically places your leg in the ideal straight and steady position, improving your horse’s way of going.
- Great Seat – Encourages correct pelvic positioning, preventing arching and strain.
- Stability – Minimizes unwanted movement, improving rider confidence and precision of aids.
- Transformation – Riders experience immediate improvements, with continued gains in stability and effectiveness over time.
“Riding in this saddle was an amazing experience! It naturally placed my pelvis in the correct position, allowing me to move effortlessly with my horse. I was more stable, balanced, and precise in my aids. The transformation in every rider who tried it was astonishing. This saddle truly helps riders become the ‘better’ rider we all want to be!" - Priscilla Roberts
The Story: How Luis & Linda Created the Equilibrio
From Linda…
Luis Lucio, my dressage mentor and two-time Olympic rider, challenged me:
“Your saddles might be good for the horse, but they’re not precise enough for the dressage rider.”
I disagreed at first, but after sitting in one of his designs, I felt the difference—a longer leg, an open hip, and a stable, upright position. However, his saddle didn’t fit the horse comfortably. That’s when we decided to combine our expertise and create something revolutionary—a saddle that works for both horse and rider.
From Luis…
Every dressage rider dreams of a deep, balanced, and steady seat on a moving horse. Over decades, I studied with top trainers in France, England, and Germany, constantly refining my seat. I even designed two saddles before, but they lacked true comfort for the horse.
When Linda and I started this project, I was skeptical. Could we really create a saddle that solved both rider and horse issues? The answer was yes—and the result was the Equilibrio Saddle. It transforms riders instantly, and horses move with newfound freedom and confidence.

Customs + Duties
The Equilibrio Saddle is made in Spain. Customers are responsible for all import duties on orders. As the buyer, you are responsible for any Duties, Taxes or Handling Fees that are charged for importing consumer goods. Happy Horse Happy Life is not responsible for these charges.
Import duties are not collected at checkout, therefore they must be paid upon your saddle’s arrival into its destination country. Unfortunately we cannot give you an estimate of these costs as they vary around the world.
It is general practice that the designated courier company pays these charges on your behalf and will then contact you for payment before delivery.
It is your responsibility to verify the duties and customs charges and procedures in your country prior to placing your order.
A 30% restocking fee will be applied to orders where delivery is refused or customs and duties owed are not paid. Original shipping charges will also not be refunded in this case. You will be refunded the balance on receipt of the saddle back to the sender.
