DAY 2
9-10
Debrief Day 1, Q & A
10.30 - 12.00
Group 1: Relationship & Leadership in the Saddle
How do you get a horse calm, connected, relaxed and listening to you in the saddle? While it might seem basic, Core Behaviors are essential to safe and confident… let alone enjoyable riding! Leadership is key. You are probably a good driver behind the wheel of your car, but you probably let your horse take over, go faster (or slower) than you want, veer left or right, get afraid of or attack other cars…! Its time to bring those same skills to the saddle! You just need to know how to be the leader your horse is looking for.
12 - 1.00
Lunch Break
1-1.30
Q & A + Simulations
2.00-5.30
Advanced Group 2: Harmony & Agility
Here’s where you need to get out of the rut and know where you want to go. Part of this involves your vision of the future, but most of it involves the kinds of exercises you need to be doing with your horse to improve mental and physical agility. Yes… LATERALS! I’m going to help you discover a way that doesn’t involve lots of pushing and twisting yourself in unnatural ways! Lateral movements are your key to a whole other level of lightness and… joy!
